Good News! The teddy bears will be picnicking in Letchworth State Park again this year at the Trailside Lodge on June 27, 2026, between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM. The teddy bears will be joined by some friends to add to the fun of the day. Perry Ground, Haudenosaunee storyteller will share a couple of tales. Mr. Scribbles will be bringing his own special artistry. Jo Ellen Harvey will provide face painting. Crafts for the children will be coordinated by Rose Helmer. There will be a guided hike through the woods as well.
Everyone is welcome to join the teddy bears and their friends since the event hosted by the Friends of Letchworth is open to all and free after the $10.00 park vehicle admission fee. So, pack a picnic lunch and bring your children and their favorite stuffed friends for an afternoon of fun, games, and entertainment. If the weather is nice and warm, you can top the day off with a swim at the Harvey Pool in the High Banks Recreation Area. (Swimming is also free.)
