Description: An excerpt performance of a light-hearted romp through local history and teaser for the full musical featuring three local actors. Set in 1890 at the Glen Iris – Carolyn Bishop, Mr. William Letchworth’s longtime secretary, is concerned about the guests he invited to his croquet tournament. George Eastman and Susan B. Anthony will certainly spar on women’s suffrage; Matron Ellsworth will flirt and cheat her way across the pitch, while Clara Barton may have another nervous breakdown. Ruth E. Henry is a 2015 Livingston Arts individual Artist Grant recipient and author of 7 historical musicals.
